Sorry for the cross-post. THought it was appropriate here too. Mike posted a video on how to set the button color of the Launchpad but I couldn't find color values for the APC40 documented. So here they are (as far as I can tell).
0 - Off
1 - Green
2 - Flashing Green
3 - Red
4 - Flashing Red
5 - Amber
6 - Flashing Amber
Just for the button grid. I haven't tested this on the clip stop, track selection or scene launch. Please update us if this works for those!

I am going to take a look at the APC40 today. I may create some tutorials on the APC40. I haven't decided yet because the Launchpad series is applicable to the APC40.
I will definitely comment on the differences.

would it be possible to make a tutorial on how to use the SEVENUP app with the apc40. I can't get it to work. Already post it on the monome forum and some other users are also wondering how to get this done. Could you help us on this one ?

Hi, you need to download the nonome launchpad edition first , it will also work for the Akai APC 40, then download 7up from
http://www.makingthenoise.com/sevenup/
and follow the instructions on how to use it.
