Don't mean to sound ignorant but has anybody succesfully developed a patch that allows for an APC40 user mode or at least the direct control of Drum Racks. Something as powerful as nativekontrol's breakthroughs would be great. Ableton kept alluding to the possibility to control drum racks wtih M4L, but I have not come across a full-fledged patch. If anyone could provide me with a link or direct me to a thread discussing such a prospect, I'd be really thankful.

The _Framework blog (http://remotescripts.blogspot.com/) has a set of remote scripts you can download which add a Notes Mode (the same one that is on the APC20) to your APC40. It's not a m4l implementation, but is slick and nice and works perfectly - lets you change between the normal mode and Notes Mode by pressing a button. This will let you use Notes Mode to input notes - you can control Drum Racks or any other instruments.
