I have went through the beginning tutorials and the in control series for the launchpad in order to start building some performance templates. One thing I really want to do is isolate different modes, and I have done that. But the problem is, I can't get the button matrix to show values when isolating user1 mode. Al the other modes work wonderfully and I am using the same snippet of code for all of them,l I can't figure out what the issue is. I can get user 1 mode to put out values when I am not isolating though. I hope someone could look at this patch and help me figure it out, because if I can't do this, I won't be motivated to continue developing this patch. For now I have used midiin and midi parse to at least get values but it is not ideal. I have attached pictures.

My goal was to build two buffer shuffler controled by Launchpad: one use in user2 mode for audio track #2 and one use in user1 mode for audio track #1.
The user2 patch work well with LED outputs and I manage to make a user1 mode that works too but without LED feedback for now. Since you can't use Button_Matrix in user1 mode, I had to make it works with MIDI message: this work great and you can isolate message from user1 with Main_Modes.
The problem is: you can't use call send_value to Button_Matrix for LED outputs nor use noteout (or ctlout). If anyone have an answer it will be great !!!
So to resume and respond to datafl1ow: it is possible to make things work with user1 mode and isolating messages from user1 mode (without LED feedback as I know).
I am the third person with this problem.
