Hello, I'm totally new to M4L programming. i have done some coding in the past, but never went really far with it. I am interested in gettind deeper into M4L, but i have been unable to find any real beginner's tutorials or videos, etc.
I mean, I liked the one about the paths and observers - it was very helpful and made complete sense, but when I came to this forum to get the patch, all you have posted is the code and I can't even figure out how to open up the code window to paste it. So, I obvisouly need to start from the beginning. I haven't been able to find that sort of info anywhere. I haven't found the manual either.. I guess I'm going to go to Cycling 74's site to get it now. But, if anyone has any tips on how they got started with Max 4 Live, please let me know.

Totally new to M4L and Max programming...
You can search for. "tutorial" on this site to find all of the M4L video tutorials. There is one tutorial that is specifically on paths, objects and observers. Additionally, the help within max is great. You just go to help and click on the Max For Live topic. Furthermore, you can look at the M4L lessons within live itself. The Live tutorials take you through several lessons that teach the different aspects of live device creation.
