After watching Mike's videos about live.step, I decided to build a super-seq, conceptually linked to the modular synths of yesteryear.
One feature I really wanted to implement was to be able to play a midi clip in ableton and it to copy the contents to live.step. NB this might seem like an odd idea, but my end patch will use 6 independant sequencers, and I wanted a way to store patterns.
The patch below is what I've got so far, but right now, it's a bit hit and miss. It uses the select all notes and get all notes functions and then distributes the values via lists. I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look, it' would be really useful, and I simply don't understand why it's not more accurate.
