After having folding into a "Group" several devise (in an audio track or return tracks, I am currently working with audio devise but quite sure it's the same with only MIDI device group), when browsing the Live API, I could only see the device "Group", I could no longer address the object by their ID and so I could no longer directly patch features on these individuals devices.
For sure "Group" device comes with macro and chain selector that already provide lot of flexibility, but I do feel some limitations when working with Max for Live
Does anyone has also notice this behaviour or maybe I have miss the relevant property on the "Group" device.
I have asked this question to Ableton support but they seem really busy at the moment (...) Anyway I will update this post as soon as I receive their feedback.

Could be interesting to add here that you could work on live object which are in a grouped track.
