I would like to start patching with the default max4live patch and can not find how to store the line up view of the objects.

If you mean putting them in presentation mode. Then you select the object and right click and selec, "Add to presentation". Then, once you are finished doing that with all of the object you want in presentation mode, you change to presentation mode by clicking the icon on the bottom of the patcher window. Hover over the icons to see what they do. If this is not what you were looking for then please explain and I will try and help further.
