defering midi and osc messages to lower priority - deferlow

 its just a minor problem that i figured out already but i would like to know why this is nessesary...
when patching stuff to control via midi or osc i had to deferlow messages going from the object (numbox) to the actual object thats being controlled otherwise midilearn would not work or the osc messages cant get through . i debugged, but could not figure out why those messages had to be defered to the low priority cue. 
it seems to me it has something todo with the fact that ableton puts the execution of messages going to or from the live.object, live.observer and live.remote to high priority ?.
